I just tried on a 6 1/2 pump & a 7the six1/2 fit good the shoe did not slip off as i walked, but the 7 did, I was thinking maybe i could wear one of those liner things to make the 7 fit better and it wouldn’t squeeze my foot so much, but I also though that the 6 1/2 would eventually loosen up a bit, does wearing tighter shoes cause ingrown nails, i have a bunllen and its always hard 4 me to decide on the shoes.

You probably have bunions from wearing shoes that are too tight. When in doubt, always go a bit larger. And, yes, they can actually cause ingrown toenails which can be very painful and can become infected.

You're right, you can put the non-slip grips in the heels of the larger size to keep them from slipping off. If your shoes are too tight, yes, they may eventually loosen up a little-if they are real leather-but probably not enough for them to actually be comfortable. Keep in mind too that your feet have a tendency to swell up throughout the day as well so that will make tight shoes even more uncomfortable.

OH MY GOD..... i'm sooooo jealous....

I wear a 12.... Being 6'0" tall and a lady makes buying shoes hard.... It's much better to have a shoe that is a little big... wearing shoes that are too small causes foot problems... calluses, blisters, etc., it also will cause problems with ingrown toenails.

I think that tight shoes are worse for you! The smaller shoe will eventually loosen up, but the pain that you will have to endure before that happens would be too much! Plus, it will make your bunion worse! Opt for the looser pair.

i think tight is WAY worse. if it's a bit loose, the when ur feet swell a tad in the mid-day...they'll fit just right. =) just trying to stay positive.

personally i would just buy another pair that fitted properly, cos tight and loose shoes will give you problems, so give up on those ones!

With cute little feet like yours, go for the slightly larger size and use the little pads in the back. You don't want knarly feet when you are older.

shoes that fit tight because they cause they cause ingrown toenails that can get really badly infected and they sometimes have to cut your toe off
