If you have cast iron sash weights - not a lot, other than novelty value, or if they are Georgian, possibly some restorer seeking authenticity would be interested. Weights are matched to window size/weight to allow smooth lifting/closing.

because they were made from cast iron, you won't get anything, I also doubt any reclaimers would be interested because all sash windows will still have their weights in the boxing even though the sash cord has snapped
