I'm looking for non-lethal and non-poisionous methods to get them off the house and garage

The correct answer for getting rid of boxelder bugs is to mix up a solution of dish washing detergent and water in a spray bottle - a 1/2 gallon weed sprayer works really good. Spray the little critters with the soapy water and they will die in about 1 minute. Sorry that's it's lethal, but hopefully you will have less the following year.

Seven powder kills the Asian beetles. Again, lethal.

i went to the local hardware store and got a product that is sprayed all over the area and last for months
comes in a gallon jug with hose and sprayer for about $7
i blasted the area and it last a long time
a gallon lasts about a year with regular treatments
check it out

go to your local,garden shop ask for 7 dust that will get rid of your beetle and bug problem ..........it is harmful to pets , but inviromentally safe ,keep pets away from the rose bushes
