If you are not sure that you want to risk the friendship, then don't ask.

If you do decide to ask, it is a really simple question; "Will you go out with me?"

Everyone thinks you have to ask a certain question or ask in a certain way. Girls like confidence in guy more than anything, and nothing says confidence like just coming right out and asking!!

You can start by doing petty little things to her, like pull her hair or put gum in it, or putting a June bug down her dress. This is to let her know you're interested. She will probably act like she's mad, but when a girl says no she really means yes. It's all just make-believe because girls aren't allowed to make the first move - trust me, she's interested.

Next, you have to increase the level a little bit. Show her you really care by finding out what her interests are. The best way to do this is by snooping through her mail or investigating her trash at night. (better to do it at night, because most people don't understand what true love is)

Once you find out about her, you can present her with your feelings. Girls want to know that you are thinking about them allll the time, so writer her a letter every day and mail it, as well as calling her at least every 3 hours. Sometimes, they find comfort just in the sound of your breathing, so don't feel obligated to say anything at all.

At this point, she'll probably play "hard to get." That's what all girls do - what she wants you to do is really *prove* to her that you want her. You can do this by following her around like a sick puppy, and by making a little shrine with pictures of her and candles and small items taken from her room or locker, wound round with strands of hair you snuck from the back of her sweater when you pass her in the hall. This shows a real dedication, and that you are in it for the long haul.

Don't get discouraged. All the great loves you've read about, like Romeo and Juliett, Will and Grace, and Milo and Otis, had to face serious challenges. Things like sexual orientation, interspeciality or restraining orders seem like big bad words but really they're just another challenge. Love conquers all, and really she just wants you to prove how much you love her, no matter how hard she struggles against the ropes and cries.

I hope this helps - good luck!

For me personally, I would rather risk the consequences by asking than go through life wondering what might have been.

Say, hey, I think it would be cool for us to hang out together this weekend. You want to? Keep it light and simple so that you don't sound so "serious" if she doesn't want something more than a friendship, you know? Just don't stress about it, you'll be okay! Good luck, hope she says YES!!!

Dude, just ask her out. If you never step up to the plate, you'll never know what it's like to hit a homerun. If she says no, whatever. If you're really friends, you still will be afterward, even if its awkward at first. Then you ask out HER best friend, and watch her come running.

Start out by asking her to go somewhere (in a group) that you have a common interest, maybe a bunch of you can go to a mall, movie, skate park, something like that and build on it. If she doesn't want to go out with you, she'll say she doesn't want to go and you can still go with the group and hopefully find someone who you find just as appealing to be your friend/date.

Picture this: You don't ask her out and she doesn't know you have feelings for her. She finds a boyfriend and starts telling you about how wonderful he is. Then she starts sharing things about what they do together. You will feel like a shmuck.

First I have to find you, ask your name, locate the girl, and politly ask that she go out with you.

But I'm not willing to put that much effort into it, you should probably ask her instead.
