Throwing Crows!

I overhead a Chinese co-worker complaining to someone about her son. Apparently he has a bad habit of throwing his crows on the ground.

When I was considering opening my own clothing resale shop, I decided I would call it Throwing Crows. I knew no one would get it, and that I'd probably not be able to share the cute story behind it, but it really tickled my fancy.

Either that, or Bra Bra Bra, were I to open a lingerie shop. That's her way of saying blah blah blah!

In case it's not clear, I'm laughing WITH her, not at her accent.

Char's Bar
No Alcohol Served
No Smoking on the Premises
It'd be a fun place with big screen TVs and lots of young people hanging around.

Char's Labs
That's where I'd breed Labradors, and have a training ground so they could learn to help disabled people.

Char's Gym
That's where I'd go to get some exercise. I'd have to hire the fitness gurus, because I'm not one myself.

It would be a restaurant with many tasty delights from Chicago New orleans, Los Angeles, New York, The Old South, and regional dishes appropriate with the particular locale. And I would call it ..LIPSMACKERS..I just may do this. I have a long back-ground including cheffing, restaurant consulting, marketing and advertising. But more importantly, how does the idea sound to you ??

Oh wait I already own these companies and named them after me. I guess that really does answer your question.

Just Write.

I do calligraphy and at one time considered opening a shop and calling it that. Then I worried that if I took a hobby and tried to make a living from it, that it would cease to be fun. Well, that plus carpel tunnel syndrome makes calligraphy something I can only for a tiny bit and would never be able to support myself doing it anymore. I still love that name for a shop, though!

By the way, which question on creativity were you referring to. The other "build a paragraph" question?

I don't want to answer another one like that because it feels like someone is trying to give me a Roschach inkblot test.
