I would have to say Sean Connery. He has a presence that most other actors don't have. For instance in "The Untouchables" Kevin Costner appears flat next to him. Sean Connery is dynamic. Although Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore as James Bond weren't bad either.

Sean Connery was definitely the best bond. I'm not quite too sure on how the new Bond will do. Hopefully he can act because I don't think he has the good looks of Connery or Brosnan or even Moore for that matter.

Im a Sean Connery fan all the way. But the Best was Brosnan. HE is the ideal James Bond. Makes your toes curl kind of James Bond, which is what James Bond is supposed to do. The rest of them just dont do that.

Pierce Brosnan and Sean Connery are the best known for it and both brought something different to the character, as has everyone who has approached the roal. (I am excited about Casino Royale) Everyone has their own favorite.... those who got into the series when it was Connery are going to be loyal to him, the same goes for Brosnan.... for me, the first one I saw that I can remember is Goldeneye, so Im a loyal Brosnan fan.
