Please help, i have limited ideas. I've got a good gangster hat and gangster shoeboots but they don't seem to go with the black polo neck dress which comes to just above my knee. Do i just go for a shirt?
Ps. I have no shorts (i need to get some)

I am soooo hoping that everyone is getting this wrong. By gangster party do you by chance mean like gangsters and mobster? Like mafia? I am hoping that these gangster/ black references are mistakes! If I'm right, I'd go with a black skirt, or something with black and white pinstripes. That's classic gangster. Some suspenders would be cute too. Also, check out the website below for some inspiration. These are "sexy costumes" so please don't be young!
