I like both BSG versions I call Classic and New. Classic BSG was awesome, for we never before saw such whiz-bang special effects on a primetime sci-fi TV show. But Classic was foggy on why Cylons wanted to hunt down the humans; offering vague Egyptian/Biblical references.

New BSG, however, is stark and glaringly clear; it's gritter/darker and opens wide unanswered questions left for ClassicBSG fans.

We see why Cylons hunt the humans; how wrathful their deadly drive is. We see the well intwined political dynamics between main characters--each with their own story. For the past two seasons, we've seen the Humans get their azzes confidently kicked by the Cylons......

.....I hope in Season 3, we see that's all about to change. And I'm hoping we see more of the Cylon side of the war this time, too.

I still like the old one. Same as Star Trek, I hated the next generation until I watched for a while, love it now. Except for overly sensitive Deanna Troy.
