What the big deal is with T.O. I mean the man said he wasn't trying to kill himself, anything further is between him and his $10,000 an hour therapist. The man stays out of trouble with the law and he does not openly use drugs. Taking too many prescribed pain killers is easy to do if you body is not tolerant to them. His only crime is that he is a show boat, and has every right to be because he is better than 99.9% of all humans at catching a football while running fast. If I were that good I would rub it in everybody's face too, so would many people. Until they make all of barry bond's homeruns null and void, I am on T.O's side. **** da haterzzzzz.

wow, way to put words in my mouth. I never said he is the best reciever and I never said he didn't drink or do drugs. I said he is better than 99.9% of humans at recieving. and that he does not openly use drugs or drink. If his publicist lied that is her dumb fault. TO is not his publicist and his publicist has to get statements approved by other entities. I don't think the fact that he smoked a cigarette has anything to do with this.

Brett Favre was addicted to vicodin for two years and had a near overdose. Pain killers are very addictive, but with them it's not the same as recreational drug use, because they're used at first to benefit the person using them.

What I think is rediculous is that the situation should have died already after the police report said he didn't try to commit suicide. The US media, ESPECIALLY in teh sports industry, are just leeches.

T.O. is an arrogant SOB, but he's also a clean player, a competitor and he's a nice guy off the field and out of the media spotlight. People always want someone to hate, and just like Bonds is in MLB, T.O. is the guy to hate in the NFL.

I've never once understood how "bad mouthing" a team or a teamate is a more offensive crime than doing drugs, beating a spouse, DUI's, etc. Guys like Ricky Williams should be the "bad guys", not T.O.

I live in the Dallas area and this subject just will not die here. On the day it happened people were all over it, but I was urging the people I talked with to take a wait and see attitude. I don't know if he tried to kill himself or not, but I do believe it is his cross to bear and no one Else's business. We are too obsessed with celebrities in this country in general. I say leave the man alone about it and let it die the death it deserves. I should also mention that I cannot stand T.O. and will be very glad when he inevitably screws up in Dallas and gets traded again. It is just a matter of time.

The story about the pills came from his publicist who called 911. She found an empty bottle of pills. The story was aggravated by the fact that when police and EMTs asked if he tried to hurt himself TO replied yes. Later in the day he recanted this statement saying he was groggy from the reaction to painkillers and supplements he had taken. As to the missing pills he states he emptied to bottle into a drawer.

I gotta Disagree with you on him being the best reciever ,even his own teamate Terry Glenn has More Yards and TD's than him.

and I myself belive what his publicist said is the biggest line of B.S. ever when she said..T.O. has NEVER smoked,NEVER Drank,NEVER done any Drugs...

well even a Cigarette is smoking, and I am sure he popped some Champagne when the Eagles went to playoffs so he had a drink..
and HE admitted he takes Supplements..a Supplement is a drug it aint candy.

so Lie Lie Lie.

Yes you are on his side there are lots of receivers better then him that don't show off they only show it on the field like Marvin Harrison what do you know about his life outside of football? Yeah that's what I thought you see what I mean I like T.O. he is really good but he is got some mental problems he needs to shut up and just play but he won't do that because he loves the attention.

T.O. has never been one to bite his tongue and not say the truth. If a man takes 35 Hydrocdone, which is what he claimed to have taken, he would have immeadiatly had his stomacth pumped. That never happened. And I know from experience if you take that many pain pills mixed with whatever else he takes, your gonna pass out and say ridiculous things that you don't remember saying.

The only reason I don't like TO is because football is a team sport and he breaks up teams see 49ers and Philly. I think he is an exceptional athlete. If he was half the man Marvin Harrison is then he could be one of the greatest all time.

it is his business not ours but i do think it is fishy that he told the paramedics that yes he was tryin to harm himself, ok yea he was high on pain killer so i can forgive that one but who empties the pills into a drawer or another container then leaves the one they are going to take in the bottle. That seems funny to me. I think if he did try to kill himself maybe it was for attention from someone close to him but he didnt want the public to find out or after this he realized that it was embarrassing and the publicist put her spin on it and here we are today. Just my opinion

I think the problem is that many people are jealous of him and the fact that he will not conform to their idea of what a professional athlete should be. Honestly though using my Psychology 101 skill I do think he has some slight psych problems he has a hard time trusting people and he craves attention, but honestly so do I.
