Somebody mumbles something to you, and you can't understand them, so you have to keep asking "what?" and they don't talk louder and they get mad at you?

Yes I have a friend like that,it's so ironic you posted this question becuz I just got off the phone with her for doing the same dumb ****!And she gets mad and ask me what's wrong with you,I told her can't nobody understand what the hell you be saying,she thinks it's funny.I've gone as far as hanging the phone up on her because it's sickning.And she has this thing that she does without opening her mouth but be talking,it's crazy,but yes I understand you completly.the thing is they look at you like you're the one with the damn problem!And get this now her 4 year old son is starting to do the same thing when he talks.I told her you need to stop him from doing that.She thinks it's funny it's insane!lol,sorry to make it so long but like I said how ironic you posted this question and I just got off the phone with dingleberry!lol

Oh man,that's been happening to me for a long time now!
My older sister mumbles all the time,especially when we're out walking somewhere.She'll mumble something and when I ask her to repeat herself,she'll say I must be going deaf.
Thanks for the laugh.It's kind of a running inside joke in my family.

Yes, this has happened to me plenty of times. If they get mad, I simply say, "Well, if you spoke louder and enunciated your words, people could understand you and you wouldn't have anything to be mad about."

Yes, but they get mad at me because after a Little bit, I don't even care what they're saying, I'm too busy laughing at them. lol

Yes. And there are certain people that cant understand what I talk. I re estate it to no avail. Specially in biochemistry....

Yeah. It sucks. I just look at them and don't answer their question. Then they laugh nervously and I just start talking about something else.
