Do they run a check to see if you have an arrest warrant when you get an ID made at the DMV?

Depends on the state. They do in texas. They won't release your licence if you have anything outstanding.

Ya, I think they can and do because when I got my liscence renewed I heard the guy behind me getting denied a renewal because something came up like an unpaid ticket or something. They also can pull up something like the fact that you have been arrested for poss. of pot and use it to fu@# with you because down here in the south thats almost worse than if you commited rape or murder.
