If the Hispanic team hadn't thrown the second challenge on purpose. the Black team was in third place..... I am not trying to be racist I am white and the white team really sucked at the first challenge...and that girl "flika " is just a total nutcase
but the black team went into it saying they were going to "represent " for their people, you would think they would have pulled together at least a little bit at first to NOT match the sterotype

my analysis is this. I'm afr-am & I was curious too, cuz if the Hispanic team hadn't thrown it, they were going to lose 2 in a row.

Every Asian has a degree. Yul's is from Stanford.

On the white team, 4 have a degree.

On the hispanic team, 3 have a degree.

On the black team, 2 have a degree, & one isn't using theirs. Basically all of them are simply hustlers.

I'm really upset that they broke up the teams by race. That was kinda cool. Survivor producers choked. Now I have no interest in the show again.

I'm not totally sure if has anything to do with their race, but that team is just still a bit divided. They were divided a few weeks back by male/female sides. There were 3 girls against 2 guys on the vote out. The women prevailed, so now there's only one guy left. He knows that he's outnumbered and will be the next to go from their team at their next tribal counsel. They're less of a team now and it shows during the challenges.

maybe because they still haven't formed a true team and work together. But they are not the only ones who didn't work well together. I noticed on last night's episode that when both teams were in the water, (forgot names of the teams sorry) that one team right from the start starting running some sort which totally slowed them down after a few minutes. I thought that was bogus all the womem gave up so quickly and left the men to do all the hard work. I do love the show and am happy to know that Richard isn't on this on. whew!!!!!!!!

i know there are only three episodes shown so far, but during the first two challenges, it's so obvious that the Yellow team (african-american) did very poorly. I agree that if Aitu didn't throw that challenge, they would be last AGAIN. i agree that they're probably pressured to get back in the game after lossing the first challenge and that they want to perfect their actions and that probably slowed them down.

During the second challenge, Aitu was already on the rope and the yellow team was still figuring out the puzzle... to think Aitu read the clues first before starting the challenge.

i hope they'll improve though now that they're with other teammates.

I haven't noticed the strengths of the "black" team, I guess I was so occupied rooting on my "asian" team. I wasn't happy either about the surprise merger, I thought that was like losing the essence of each tribe.

I don't see any wrong w/ having to survive and outcast other tribes. I think the value of the show (though I know a lot of people don't like the idea of it) is how to survive in a man's own island. Each of the castaway members literally or if not grew up in US and have adopted to their culture. But it doesn't mean that they have totally forgotten their roots, like the Asians - in the deepest sense of it - they are still Asians in heart, actions and mind. It was really great seeing Yul waved goodbye to Brad and Jenny, as each team headed back to their camp. It was really like the bonding is still their despite having to battle each other now. I think that is really the spirit that each one has to instill. I'm not being racist, I just want everyone to know there is a value in each race or tribe. We meet different people from different walks in life, from different tribes - but at the end of the day - it is who the person is that made us come to accept him or her despite our differences.

I think they put so much pressure on themselves to do well to represent their race, that the pressure got to them. I thought their team was strong and could have done better. The race idea is a bad one, especially since they're representing america and america is made up of so many cultures.

Nothing against black people, but they just don't know how to work together and let the team leader do his or her job. It happens all the time in everyday life.

There were way too many leaders on that team and no real team work. Thats why they lost.

Ahahaha

They can't swim and the great expanse of water
frightens them. No Olympic swimmers yet, right.

only on one episode. They are doing just fine now. All teams had their ups and downs.
