i bought a car from the junkyard and am tryin to get a title on it the only info i have is the registration from the lady that owned it and cant find her num anywere. any help will be greatly helpful.

I had to go into the DMV (wherever you register your car) and get a salvaged title for my junkyard car.
And to the guy who laughing... you got taken on your last car deal.
Junkyard cars can be a great car learning experience that can save you money now and later when you have a nice car and some dealer tries to take you to the cleaner on a minor repair - you'll know what they are talking about and might be able to fix it yourself.

Go to the court house (or write them) where the car was registered. If they cannot do a title search the motor vehicles dept. of that state can. There will probably be a fee.Or try filing for a lost title with these same places. By the way...find a more reputable junkyard.

You bought a car with out a title????? The junkyard should've had the title or paperwork to get the title. Take the car back or demand a title from the junkyard.

I wonder if your local secretary of state / DMV would have it. you could trace the registration number from there. Or place ads in your local paper

Carfax.com will give you any vehicles history. I think it costs money though.
