On my vivitar which isnt the same model but after u have installed the camera and your computer reconizes it there should be a button on the camera that changes the "mode" and that should let you use the webcam

Every hardware these days has a USB port for easy installation. You always install the software to the hardware onto the computer first. Then you plug in the hardware when the installation is almost complete (that's when it tels you to on the screen).

ive got a cam that also doubles up as a web cam instal the sortware that came with it. it should automaticly install as a web cam if it doesn't then try going onto control pannel and go into camera and scanner set up and have a look about in there for cam settings. hope this helps good luck. ps if your using it for messenger live then it should automaticly detect the web cam.

Plug it into your USB and when asked what you want to associate the program to use the camera setting
go to your IM and click on your setup and when it asks which cam use yours
