If Google is right that it is tracking over 8 Billion sites, then, if you start now and visit a different site every second, you'll be finishing up in ~254 years.

i would have to get paid for it and i bet if you spent a LIFETIME doing it you might. also depends on how long you live... like, the average 70 years or so? and you would have to start right away as a kid and remember that with each passing minute, more are added... sounds like a fun task. i bet a computer could do it in no time. Could you imagine 70 years from NOW how many websites there will be? YIKES!!

Eight years ago when it was my job building websites we got a report in from somewhere that there were roughly 4 Billion web sites, with thousands of sites being added daily after eight years you do the sums. So to answer your question: no not in ten lifetimes.

Certainly not! Just go to google and search for 'hello'. just for that one word there are 475,000,000 hits. Assuming you can get to a new webpage every 10 seconds, this alone should take about 150 years, and that assumes you dont sleep, eat etc
