Star Wars, the original three at least. The new ones are a little too much about visual effects not enough story.

I like Star Trek. Star Trek influenced to create a lot of hi-tech thingy on the market right now, such as cell phone! "Beam me up, Scotty!" Star Trek has more close tie with our own and real science technology. Not everything is unreal in the Star Trek, so that makes story more interesting.

It's hard to compare since Star Wars is not really science fiction. It is a fantasy story like LOTR that takes place in a futuristic setting. Star Trek is more of a sci fi story greatly influenced by writers like Aurthur C. Clark and Issac Asimov.

Star Wars is "cooler," and is more toyetic with lots of eye candy, but Star Trek (when it's good, anyway) is "smarter," with thoughtful science fiction and intriguing concepts. It's the Dumb Jock vs. the Geeky Nerd, basically. And while one is more popular, the other is probably the better sci-fi franchise.
