Why is Apple/Macintosh turning into a mini MicroSoft?

Its the only thing they CAN do! They have failed for years to corner any decent portion of the PC market due to the fact that they had to do everything differently! No one followed their bandwagon when it came to compatible software. I think they finally decided that to survive, they need to change! Look at that piece of crap Ipod for instance! You cant just plug it in to a PC to swap music, you have to download software! No other player has to do this!
