I would like to learn how to speak Haitian Creol. Does anyone know where I can find an online course. Or a learn at your own pace book and CD?

Creole is basically French, start with that. If you have some base learned you are ready for the next step. I found several courses for you to take.

I tried learning from a Haitian friend but it all sounded French to me. REally. His idea of teaching is to teach French. It was only when he started rapping with his friend that I heard the differences. Those differences you have to learn by being with Haitians. There is no course. yet...
