Well, since all you want is a simple yes or no answer, that kind of kills the possibility of at least discussing why and how one reached such a decision. Perhaps you don't really care to let anyone have an opinion other than the one that you want them to.
Nonetheless, here it goes.

If I accepted the notion of such places as heaven or hell as being real, then YES, I would want to know. Obviously, if a person did accept such things, it would be to their advantage to know what their final destination was. This way they might have the chance to repent of whatever they have done to earn their way into hell. If they could repent and be forgiven, then they could, at least to the extent that they could, change their final destination.

This question only has meaning, however, to believers who accept such things as real. To non-believers, your question is moot, because the question has no meaning unless one already accepts the assumption that heaven and hell are real places. This is my answer whether you like it or not, because I don't care whether you like it or not. But I forgot...you only wanted a monosyllabic answer.

This is an open ended question. Almost any answer implies an invited reply.
I do know. I know that I am not going to hell. I know that I am going to heaven and do not wish to change that. I know from the same scriptures which inform you. I am under the same promise as you. Put another way, I am trusting the same gift from God through Christ Jesus as you. Refer to the books of Romans and John. God gave his Son on the cross for us. We are offered the gift of God which is eternal life through Christ Jesus. Accepting this gift is simple.
