According to the reply to a letter, this young gentleman says the universe doesn't move at all. So in answer to your question, nothing makes the universe move... because it isn't moving at all.

And according to another article, the universe isn't expanding either!

But then again... you can find just about anything online now-a-days! (see last link)

The universe's movement was a result of the propulsion generated at its creation. It's now a result of its inflation. Since we have no point of reference, we don't know if the entire universe is moving or just the objects in it are moving relative to each other.

The universe isn't moving. At least I have never heard that it is. Objects within it move, but the universe as a whole moving? I never heard that.
