...if you found out one of the employees of your small, not-so-well-known company was a "socialite" and "heiress" celeb? ('Cause I just did, and frankly, I don't care.... :-P) Should I care? You tell me your thoughts and "win" 10 points, but don't try to impress me by agreeing....

P.S. It's not Paris....

Let me clear up something. It's not "my" company, it's the company I work for. Sorry if I made it seem like I own the place! hehe

Except for Bronnimoose (who needs a Xanax and a nap), I'm pretty impressed for all your honest (and polite) answers. :-)

Meant Zoloft, not Xanax. But maybe Midol would be the best drug for her. Sheesh!

I think that it is impressive that having money coming to them they still are getting out there and seeing how the rest of the world works.
I have hopes of making a lot of money some day but I always told myself, if I was to get a lot of money. Be that person who won the lottery or something, I would make my kids work. I wouldnt tell them they were getting a sent. That way they would appreciate money and people a lot more.
So I think it is good that that person is working too.
P.S. I would hope it wasnt Paris, you would have to live under a rock to work with her and not know about her. ; )

I live on Maui and it is a playland for celebs. Tiger owns a house here, Paris has a pink decked out Hummer parked at a friends garage, Cher, Frasier owns property here, Alice Cooper....the list goes on. Anybody who is anybody comes here and mingles with the local folks. Maui creates the very mellow atmosphere that celebs enjoy becuase they aren't typically hassled here.

I was having dinner at Ruby's in the Queen Kaahumanu Mall and nearly walked up to Robert Downey Jr. Not knowing it was RDJ, but a high school friend or something. Just as I put my 1st foot forward I realized who he was. I felt myself blush and stepped back. I was working retail at a local Koa Wood store and asked one of the customers if she was a teacher, she looked so familiar. She said no, she was on tv. I began to blush and asked here what show, she said Austin Powers.

The people on Maui don't mean to bother the celebs, it's literally a mistake. We don't want to bother them either...we want them to enjoy our island and relax. I also know multi, multi billionaires. I have pieces of Carol Brunets furniture that was in a condo that my super weathly friends gave to us.

I went to church in Dallas with a celeb off Walker Texas Ranger that also starred in the Left Behind Movie. My pastor in Dallas was a Contempory Christian Artist and still tops the charts. A friend of mine married a female Contempary Christian artist.

Truth is, no big deal. People are people. Wealthy people go through the same things as we do...maybe not money problems. Imagine what you bag of troubles would be if it wasn't money though.....I don't even want to look at that. :)

It doesn't matter because if this person is only a celebrity because they are a socialite, etc then they aren't a celebrity really. If Brad Pitt was this person then you should care lol. But its kinda nice just to have some kinda celebrity in your company.

Id be interested maybe but not super interested like asking for an autograph unless they were really nice and good at what they did to become a celeb.

It depends on who it was. If it was someone I adored, like Scarlett Johansen, than I would be very interested. If it was....Paris Hilton I would tell her to go kick rocks.

Honestly, I wouldn't be impressed either. They're people that have a money. As long as they're nice and genuine, I wouldn't mind. They're just people - no better, no worse.

As long as the celeb didn't interfere with my job or work I wouldn't care.and if no one else lacked in their job then all will be good.

It depends on what type of personality the person has. If she/he is a snob, then no.
