because I'l tell you what, if that 911 dispatcher did his job, we would have it on RECORD whether he took them on purpose or not. Well, maybe not if she didn't know. But That stupid dispatcher! Gee, did he sound helpful or what?! He should have asked "did he take the pills intentionally". My god, he didn't ask anything!!! Anyways... I just wonder what the real deal is and I know some of you don't care and hate TO from previous questions... I just wanted to vent about how disappointing the 911 dispatcher was (because I was one). JET ~ you are probably right, being a dispatcher is awfully hard, and annoying at times, but there are still protocols you need to go through... no matter how stupid/annoying/dumb the person on the phone is... at least you have to try!

I WAS in Dallas the day it developed.. He obviously tried to o.d. , but what ? are you surpirsed? That idiot has been on 'self-destruct' mode for years.. Yes, he is great at football, but he sucks at life.. The TV news hammered him all morning, then the publisist and the Cowboys got him out of sight and away form microphones and recording devises as fast as possible. That afternoon it was a whole different story, he didn't take the whole bottle of dope, he didn't drink a bunch of booze with it, He didn't talk to the dispatcher- the publisist did, he didn't admit that he "tried to harm himself",, blah blah BS. Cowboys made a 25 million dollar mistake.

His publicist, the gal that made the 911 call was not very helpful with her dialog either. She must have like a fifth-grade education. Did you hear her in the press conference refer to TO as "a man of his statue"? I'm sure she meant stature. Anyway she seemed hysterical and the 911 operator was probably just happy to get rid of her dumb a*ss.
