pH of water is 7 (neutral)... and the pH of the human body is ~7.3 (although depending on where in the body, the pH may differ. For example, in the stomach, to aid in digestion and the breaking down of food, the pH is much more acidic ~pH 2-3)

if water had a pH of 0 we would all be dead!!!! The pH of water is generally 7, give or take +/- 0.5. The pH of the human body depends on what you're talking about. Urine can have quite different pH values depending on what is being disposed of. Blood is slightly alkaline at a pH of around 7.4. So generally, for your body to act normally, the ideal pH would be in the 7 region or slightly higher, seeing as 7 is neutral.

Pure water is 7. The pH of human blood is around 7.4. The pH in your stomach is slightly more acidic.

If it were truly pure water, it would not have a pH of 5.5--something must be adding at least a tiny bit of acid. However, that is totally irrelevant to your body. Your body deals with far bigger loads of acids and bases than this all the time. pH just tells you the concentration of hydrogen ions, and your stomach produces thousands of times more than whatever you are drinking.

pH of pure water should be 7,0 (neutral, neither acidic nor alcaline) in theory, but I have noticed in lab that when you measure the pH of distilled water it is always acidic (pH 4-5), I think this is because it gets acidified by C02 from the air (which forms carbonic acid in the water.
In the body the pH is different in different compartments, e.g. in the stomach it is very acidic, in other compartments is is near to neutral but I am not sure of the exact values.

Water is pH7. "Neutral".
A pH of 0 would mean it's highly acidic. *rolls eyes*

Distilled water, if memory serves, is neutral at 7.0. The human body is slightly alkaline at 7.43 or so.
