This was back in high school. He was my first love, now I'm 25 and I'll be getting married. I'm ok w/tossing them, but not the ones in my scrapbook from highschool. It was a part in my past, and I worked hard on that book. What would you do? What do you think?

I say keep the ones in your scrap book and toss the others. I made the mistake of throwing all mine away, wish I had them now, just to look back on.

Yes throw out the pics of your ex if you are getting married. No sense of holding onto past memories when you are about to start new ones...Keep the ones in the scrapbook though, just toss the others...

Keeping stuff like that in a scrapbook is fine. You're right, it is part of who you were and part of what made you who ou are. Now, if you have pictures of the guy in your purse, at your desk at work, or hanging on your wall....that's another story.

If you feel you have to toss the scrapbook, what's next? No yearbooks from high school or college?

Go with your gut. Keep the scrapbook. Toss the others. My hub and I have *some* photos of our exes, but the majority were tossed when we married.

Keep them. They're happy memories. You might be getting married, but this was a part of you just like going to kindergarten. You don't throw out your kindergarten pictures the moment you enter high school, do you?

No reason to toss them all out. It was part of your past, just be honest with your husband. If he would prefer you to toss them, then you probably should.

Keep them. You're over it and your fiancee is probably fine with your past. You'll be glad you kept them in the future. After all, that experience helped shape who you are today - no need to throw them out unless the memories cause you pain.

I think you should ask your husband if is okay to keep the pictures, if not throw them away. They are very old any way. I know you want something to remember him by, but you need to let them go
