There's no such thing as the "silver disc moon." "The silver disk" is just another name for the moon because thats what it looks like in the sky. Its not a scientific term.

The silver disc moon is referred to the moon. Every celestial year the moon has several stars surrounding it including the big dipper and little dipper. When that affect happens it gives the appearance of a silver moon. The can only been from places close to the equator. Not the US. Plus you will need a powerful telescope to witness this event. To most scientist this is not a big event. At least any more.
