My husband is getting on my nerves about getting a job. I recently got laid off and while looking for work I realized something. Why doesn't he just find a job that pays more? He has an opportunity to go overseas and make 80,000 a year tax free and I think he should take it to support us. What do you think?

I think it's time for you to get off your lazy a$s and find some work. I'm married and both of us work, so we can have the stuff that we want. Plus, my days go faster when I work. Don't put all the stress on your husband cause it takes 2 to tango. If you ship your husband overseas, I'm pretty sure that he'll find another hot european lady that understands the concept of responsibility and work.

No it's not. It's a man's responsibility to love and protect his wife. God saw that man needed a helper that he created woman and that makes it imperative that you go find a job to help him. You sound spoiled when you talk about his going overseas and making 80,000 tax free. So you don't care about the fact that you'd miss him while he is overseas, what's important is the fact that he would be making 80,000 a year and you don't have to look for a job ever again.

I agree with amanda, you should really find a job. What are you going to do with just 80,000 a year??? I think that having a normal job and living like a normal person would (with a job) would make the days go by faster. Plus I would never ever send my husband overseas where I can't be with him... who knows what he would do right???

No it's not. You have got used to staying home and doing nothing. Why would you want to ship him off?? That indicates that you dont want him around for him but only for the money he brings. Thats just wrong and you should look at yourself and the relationship some more. If you love him you will stop trying to get rid of him before he leaves you for someone who values him. Learn to support yourself and be independent.

No wonder he is upset. You want him to go away for a year so you do not have to work. My dad ( air force) had to go overseas for a year and I tell you it is not easy. My mom would have taken two jobs to keep him home. It sounds like your embarrassed of him. My husband and I choose for me not to work but we miss out on a lot of things my girlfriends who work have. I think you should lower your expectations or go back to work.

so not only do u want all the financial responsibility to be on him , u want him to leave home so u can sit on your a** too. he probably thought he was married to a girl that gave a chit about him. sorry for him. keep looking for a job girl. no telling when he will get tired of your selfish attitude and dump u so you will need the job later.

Put him on a ship and watch him sail. Men are getting really lazy these days, aren't they?
