I have two computer talking to each other in a home network, i am trying to use windows remote desktop, and when i click connect the screen comes up saying win xp login name- and pass
the name is filed in with the correct name and the pass is blank. On the second computer there is no pass, so i juct click ok and it tells me "unable to log in due to account restriction".
What do i do to log in?

you have to "HAVE" a password for the host computer. so just create one easy for you and thats it. Or you can create just a new user called "remote" for example, with a password set, and connect thu this account, even if you don use it never in the hostcomputer, remember it is just for remote desktop. by the way you hvae to add this new user to the allowed list for remote managment.

easiest way, just create a password for your currenc account.

you should specify the locations SHARED on your remote client computer, if not shared you can never reach it.

How did you connect them, give details, is there any login passwords

Just create a password on the second computer, and you're good to go.
