This morning when i tried to check my yahoo mail the pop up trying to get me to download YAHOO BETA MAIL took up the whole page--There wan't even a close button on it and in order to close it i clicked on the x at the top of the page and that just closed me out of Yahoo altogether--Is there any way to prvent this from popping up---They shouldnt be allowed to do this--I am happy with my version of yahoo mail right now and besides i heard alot of complaints about the new yahoo mail-BETA

It did that to me, too. I was so mad because I lost the email I was trying to send. I agree, I'm happy with my email the way it is and don't want to change to Beta.

Yahoo has the right idea with the mail, but it's not well planned. Even on DSL and a decent computer, it's way too sluggish and there's many people who still use the 800x600 resolution. Though that's why it's a beta version, so they can figure out what's wrong.

the recent version (it really isn't any longer beta) is a lot extra ideal. each little thing is on on a unmarried scrolling list somewhat than diverse pages. you could truthfully drag and drop between folders. upload a contact through dragging digital mail to the contacts folder. I have by no skill had an issue with it. §

It doesn't have a close button, but there is a remind me later on the page to the right. Click that and you get back to your old page. I had the same page myself.

on the page up where your name is, there is a thing that says somehting like older version. click on it and it will go back.

I saw it too... I clicked the 'remind me later' and it went away.
