This could be while at the bar, grocery store or wherever. Has any one person made you clump the races together, even for a moment?

Yep. When my brother and I were kids he used to play with a kid down the street whose father was a white supremacist (our parents didn't know), and this boy would tell my brother all these horrible jokes and we being kids thought that because an older kid said them they must be funny and there's nothing wrong with them... Eventually I found out the hard way that these things really hurt people's feelings, and I felt like a monster for being so mean. But I now know I'm fortunate to have learned this at ten, because I know far too many adults who still don't get it...

Maybe out of anger, but never have I meant it. I think people tend to try and say the most hurtful thing they possibly can, not having a racist bone in their body, but to get over on someone. If you think about it, racism doesn't even make sense. Just the classic example of inserting foot into mouth. Peace.

Is it really racist when it's true that the majority of a group of people act a certain way. At somepoints stereotypes become truths. They do exist for a reason. They weren't created arbitrarily. A one word answer to your question yes.\
I try to give everyone a chance they usually prove my preconceived notion correct,

All of the time. Noone knows I don't like the Asian race but I have narrowed it down to a competition thing and I'm ever trying to conceal and conquer this dispicable trait. I am so ashamed of it.

we are all guilty of stereotyping other races, creeds and those different from ourselves..there are many inherent beliefs ,cultural judgementsthat shape our perspectives .what were taught when we were young, what we have evperienced that shape our views...being honest about your feelings, and we all have them..and trying to understand cultural differances and maybe even borrow a thing or two from them..can make one well rounded and more complete.
