I know that there are "rules" about the time of year you can and can't wear white dress shoes. But I just don't see putting black shoes with a white dress. What do you suggest?

To the people who are putting me down: Mind your own business. This is a local pageant/contest. I have never, nor will I ever put her into a big pageant against her will. And for the record, no make up or hairspray or anything like that until she's older. I put her in it last year, and she took first place. I just want to see if she still does. I know she's beautiful. I just want to see if the judges agree with me.

Please don't enter your child in a beauty pageant. I tried that! It is horrible. They dressed these baby's up in more makeup than any adult should use. The baby's were crying and didn't want any part of it. This is about you wanting the world to know how cute your child is and I am sure she is that cute. But is it fair to make her obtain something you are looking for? Do you really think she cares about winning a crown? When she gets old enough to make up her own mind and wants to do this - support her. But until then keep her at home-give her lots of lovin and tell her everyday how beautiful she is!

You are entering a child into a pageant? Thanks for being a psycho stage mom. Hope your daughter doesn't end like Jon Benet. You do realize that children's pageants are connected to child pornography?

Well if it is a "baby" and not just a name your refer to your young child as then I would say barefoot.
Its more adorable that way.
