Depends- if you go out drinking with your friends regularly you could be thinning your blood a little and this causes some people to bruise more easily.

I get lots of bruises if I am anemic (low iron levels). Especially after that time of the month. If it's not the drinking thing I would go to a doctor and get some bloodwork done and talk to them about other things that might cause excessive bruising.

Have you been drunk lately and maybe banged into the furniture etc? Or done anything physical that
could have caused the bruises, even if you didn't feel anything at the time?

If it's just your legs there is probably no cause for alarm but if they don't clear up in a week or so you should see your GP.

bruises are bleeding under the skin. Are you taking a lot of aspirin, this thins the blood and causes you to bleed more easily. also if you are low on vitamins and minerals you can bleed more easily, so start taking a multi-vitamin.
If you are not taking aspirin or other blood-thinning meds, and this continues, you should see a doctor.

I too have the same problem except it's everywhere..my arms, my legs..
I have aneima. (sorry about spelling) I don't have enough iron in my system. I have a hard time even getting into me! I can't hold down iron pills. Try starting to take multi vitiams and add a little more iron in your diet. Fish, peanut butter. Liver even though most don't like it. It's not really a big deal (yet) lol Do you get alot of people thinking you're abused? lol I know I do.

I am no doctor, but you could have osteoporosis. My grandmother got that when she was about your age. It causes you to have very brittle bones and such. You should go to the doctor and find out for sure what is wrong with you. You could just have sensitive bones that just bruise easily. Just go to the doctor and find out.

Maybe it's your skin.
Sometimes when I get bruises, they'll stay there for months, even after the pain has disappeared. It's usually bug bites that do that to my skin.
