Is there a site where you can download films but not through a peer to peer system? I dont mind paying for the films, but Im worried about being sent a virus with the download.

http://jerzyfam.43i.net/index.html Try that... All the films are free and it's not peer to peer :)
Always scan for viruses after downloading (before opening the file).

I found a free download of Emule here http://bitly.com/1qdbcWS

It is a open source P2P client that allows you to search and share files with other eMule users and to download movies, music and many other media file types.
You should definitly try it
Have a nice day

Have you tried LOVEfilm? They are a reputable DVD rental service, but you can also download movies from them. As with all movie downloads, there are not a whole heap of titles available yet, but LOVEfilm do have a pretty good selection. Hope that helps.
