A.I. Artificial Intelligence was based on 'Pinnocchio'
The Lost Boys was losely based on 'Peter Pan'
IMO, Star Wars (some of it) was taken from a 1974 episode of 'Gunsmoke' called 'The Tarnished Badge', guest starring Nick Nolte (who George Lucas wanted to play Han Solo but Nolte turned him down...lol) dressed in an identical costume to that Harrison Ford wears. The good sheriff turned bad, dressed from head to toe in black. The marshall trying to turn the sheriff back to the 'good side' of the law. Many other simularities but I got way side-tracked with my answer... sorry ;-)
