You must have a good demo series of songs, a tight performaing band, putots to download and upload. You need cooperation in the goup to agree to work tpowards whatever the band's ends are as a group.

If you have quality demos which have good hooks, great vocals, good EQ and a lot of proper compression, and clean as a whitelte, and a floowing with email and other addresses, and have had a good track record of live performances, you indeed can go to most lable s and ask for a contract. However, it is up to you to learn the business, becuase the concerpt Standard Contravt" Which a dishonest a and r person will tell you gives you very lottle and everything tpo the company.

So get one of those dummy books and learn the business.

Jean Simmons from KISS siad that on tv recently, that it is a business and people make and steal money.

Songwriters Market is a valuable resource tool as a book abouit the industry as well.
