Is the film "Here on Earth" loosely based on the Charlotte Bronte book "Wuthering Heights?"

My english teacher said that "Here on Earth" is based on "Wuthering Heights." Yet I see no comparisons between these two.

Your teacher is right. A very sad mask of one of the greatest books every written. I suggest you read the book or at least rent some of the older versions of the movie.
