Without even having to think about it I would say Leo Messi...the kid is amazing and I think that the fact that he is so humble will help him, go even further in football.

On further inspection I would have to say that Frank Ribery (France),Miroslav Klose (Germany), Fernando Torres and Sergio Ramos (both Spain) also have potential...but lets be honest...MESSI IS KING...the boy just can't help it!!!

Right now, we've got guys like Lionel Messi, Theo Walcott, Cesc Fabregas, Guiseppe Rossi, Robinho and a whole lot of others who are showing incredible potential at such a young age. Just give them a few more years, and I know that they will do some great things for their club and national team. They're all brilliant, and I can't wait to see what they will do in the near future.

I'd say Podolski.
He had an excellent WC scoring many goals.
he even entered in the 89' minute against Inter in the champion's league and scored. He scored 4 goals against San marino.
Just wait and see him next years WC.
