Sade doesn't need to be very public. She is the all time ruler of women's music that will last for all time.

I KNOW!! I love her, she is one of my all time favorite artists, and I wish she would tour more and release albums more!! but I guess in a way its good she's not always in the limelight, like some of these other performers, it sorta adds to the mystery and elusiveness that is Sade. Plus I appreciate her albums and videos more when she takes her time completing her artistic work

Is she still performing? She was out doing publicity in the late 80's early 90's but that's when she was still performing.
