Mostly cookbooks - my husband is a pastry chef and he's got the coolest collection!! It's fun looking through it.
I've got a few books but I must admit I watch more TV and get online then anything else.

we have...
a bunch of Bibles and associated literature, lots of biographical books, history, textbooks, some game books (like sudoku), some chick books (not romance, fabio on the cover ones but like Bridget Jones sorts), have a shelf dedicated to leather bound classics, have a bunch of cookbooks. Some sports books. Dog training books. Dog breed books. Do I have to keep going?
We have several bookcases but store some other books in the basement in bins.
I read on a daily basis. I don't read any particular kind daily although I try to read the Bible daily... but it's whatever I'm reading at the time. Which, right now, is three books... (One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Children of Henry VIII, and Elizabeth Wydeville: Slandered Queen.)

I have the entire collection and they are worth money. The Nancy Drew Mystery Series, The Devil's Notebook by Anton Levay. The Lord of the Rings books, including the Hobbit. JRR Tolken needs no introduction the man was a genius. Peanuts books by Charles Shulz I try to read on a regular basis. I have two nice size book cases. I am a Gemini, which is the sign of the twins. Look at this list. I must have two personalities.

All sorts of books reside in my household. In fact everything on your list and then some. Novels (fiction and non-fiction), comic books, war books, Bibles, dictionaries, crossword books, or cookbooks plus children's books, business publications, science books, magazines of nearly all genres, word search books and others.
As far as storage is concerned, we have built in book cases on either side of our fireplace that are filled....then there are boxes in the garage and the ones piled in the kid's rooms....
Reading is a daily activity in this house, although many titles probably have not been touched for quite some time.

We have all those kind of books in my house, including a few others...we actually have a whole wall devoted to about four 15 ft. high bookcases stuffed with books. I do try to read them a lot, but not on a daily basis, I don't have that kind of time.

I read often. Sometimes more than one at a time. And magazines, too. Usually tech magazines like Popular Science, current events (LIfe, Time, or National Geographic), and of course, Reader's Digest. I also get several kids magazines for my children like Kids Discover, National Geographic for Kids, and ZooBooks.
I keep all the magazines and only keep the books that have made me think, challenged my thinking, kept me connected to my world, or gave me a humorous break from it.
Not enough bookcases so I have to be picky what gets put on them. Otherwise, they're in boxes or drawers. Someday........someday I'll change that.

We have novels, Sudoku puzzle books, dictionaries, lots and lots of cookbooks, photo books, Bibles and my personal favorite... scrapbooks. We have the book all over the house. Some are on the coffee table for guest to look at, some are on top of the entertainment center w/ bookends keeping them in place. My scrapbooks stay in a pile in my scraping area cause I'm usually working on them. Oh yeah, don't forget phone books, and lots of notebooks.
