yes you need to have sun exposure to some degree. Sunlight that is absorbed by the skin helps create vitamin D, to build stronger bones. Too much of anything is not good. So too much sunlight, without proper protection, is not good because it can lead to skin cancer. There wont be any dramatic effects for a few weeks but if you continue this, it will cause your bones to become brittle.

Yes, as any dermatologist will advise you make sure and apply plenty of sunblock to any exposed areas of skin. If you plan to go on a tropical vacation and run around in a swimsuit for the week, you might want to head to the tanning bed for a couple of days for 5-10 minutes per day just to get your skin ready for the sun you will be exposing it to so that you don't burn and ruin your vaction

Yes as a matter of fact, you should have mild sun daily, especially on your face and neck area. You absorb the Vitamin D. You don't do it in the mid-day sun and you only need 10 minutes. It can make you healthier.

Sunlight exposure increases the production of vitamin D in the body. When you say you haven't been out, does that mean laying out or does that mean you haven't stepped foot outdoors at all in many weeks. Not laying out is actually a good thing. Zero sunlight exposure can be detrimental to your health.

future wrinkles and blemishes will be avoided but you need a few minutes every now and then for vitamin D production
and yes it only takes a few minutes a day with just a small area of your body exposed ( hands and face only ) to keep up with the vitamin D you need ( 15-20 )
