You know the americans are all thinking bread rolls, the kind that come from a pop open can and taste like chemicals.Yuck

My favourite would be the home made kind only. No store bought.
I make some that go by several names around the world depending on your location. Where I am we refer to them as Mexican wedding cakes.Ive heard them called Russian tea cakes though.
Would you like the recipe?

I moved to South Africa a year ago and you don't get biscuit here! Well you get custard creams and romany creams but you don't get blue ribands or caramel wafers or classics or things like that. For a treat I buy us McVities Digestives but they are really expensive.

My mum sent me through a 6 pack of blue ribands, which I hid behind our bed, but my 2 year old daughter found them and scoffed the lot

well , I love foxes ,gingernuts. but i have to disagree with bulliont and say that yes indeed they have Romany creams, which are sorely missed ,as are Eat some more, tennis biscuits and numerous others biscuits and cakes. the bakeries back home are something to be proud of.

my real favourite would be yo-yo biscuits, which I used to bake with my mommy.

For me, it's a toss up between KFC's biscuits and Red Lobster's cheddar biscuits.
