I found out from numerous unknown sources that the 49ers legend is a descendant of the pioneer who lead Mormons from the East to Utah and various places. He also played his college football at BYU. Is anyone aware of that?

Bigham was Brett Favre's grandfather, or may be it was great grandfather, did found the school and that is why favre played there.
