Yahoo says there is a similar question, but that didn't give me the answer desired.
Saw the last show they did in Holland, just got the Pulse dvd, been to see Roger Waters a few months back and i really wish they get back together on a tour, not just a aid show like they did for live aid
A actual tour is what i'm looking for, and if i don't get a direct answer, i hope any1 of the members of Pink Floyd reads this, i reallly reallllly wish to see them again in a football stadium

As sad as I am to say it, that pretty light show on DVD is probably the closest you'll ever get to seeing Floyd live. The members are getting along in their years and have settled into their own lives away from screaming fans and flashing cameras. Syd just died. (Not that he was playing any music lately anyway.)
Also, don't hope to see them in a stadium show. They reduce the crowd-band relationship by tenfold because there's a million people and four band members. (A stadium show DID spawn The Wall, though...). Not to mention, if they do the spectacular ballon and light show, then they will need to perform inside.
I would love for them to tour the US, especially if they gave a show in the Superdome in New Orleans, even if it is a stadium. My parents did that when I was a little tyke; they said that it was the best $55 they ever spent.
Also, on the unlikely event that one does read this, so sorry about that one time you guys came to the Dome and half of your stuff was stolen. Come to the Biloxi Coliseum instead!

I suspect that, irrelevant as it might at first seem, the death of Syd Barrett makes it less, rather than more, likely that the later full line up of the group will ever perform together again... whether the Gilmour/Mason/Wright line up will ever go back on the road is also very questionable now in my opinion.... I think the time has come to let the name rest in peace.....

I don't think they will. I was watching t.v. & saw an interview with David Gilmore & he certainly seemed to be adverse to the notion. He said things like 'that was behind him' & he 'had no interest' in doing it.
I'm sorry too because I was hoping to get to see them myself someday, but the chances are looking slim. Wish I could remember more about what I saw, but I don't. Probably because I got a little depressed while watching the interview.

I saw their second last concert in London just before they went to Holland - that was definately their last, they said so for sure. They did a bit for the Live8 in Hyde Park though but thats it folks.

Who is conscious ? i desire Roger Waters and David Gilmour to get lower back mutually instead of each and every traveling under the call -- only sounds like there is enormous holes in the band whilst they try this ! I only have been given their stay at Pompei DVD -- jawdropping !!!

All things are possible so never say never in regards to another future tour, even if it's with different band mates.
