i'm sorry Notre Dame fans but you do not get spanked and then expect to go to the NC game

I don't see how they can
get in its obvious to everyone that they are nowhere close to the best team in the country

come on now Brady Quinn is overrated at least a little bit
and
mchigan St. obviously had more tallent than ND (and they are not that good either) they just lost beause of lack of coahing and a lack of heart

I think expectations are too high and they will lose at least one more game

Michican St. didn't lose because of lack of heart or bad coaching.

They lost because Notre Dame finally played with some passion. Notre Dame is overrated, and even Brady Quinn to an extent, but if they can actually play with some intensity they're a very tough and formidable team.

If Weis can whip his boys into shape, I see them giving USC a run for their money, possibly winning. What I don't see is anyone beating Ohio State, the next national champions.

i have knoow idea.
MSU spanked them all around the field and everyone saw what Michigan did. Quinn is overrated and at least i will consider is a success is ND is able to finish the season with one more loss.

on a positive note their wide out is one of the best in the league
(only Ginn is better)

didn't you know... when god created the heavens and the trees, he also created Notre Dame football and put it on this earth to win championship races.
*slaps self*
Oops I almost gave in to the main stream media's attempts to hijack my brain again and force me to believe that Notre Dame is anything but a bunch of bright pretty lights and streamers.
Notre Dame = Terrell Owens without the talent or interesting subplots.
GO BLUE!

It's all about the money. If they admit that they are out of the race then their games are not as important and therefore do not draw as many watchers and are worth less money to advertisers. Follow the money. It is the motive for most deception.

ND is a huge steaming pile of monkey crap!

since i've never seen monkey crap play for the national championship, i'm going to say that there's no way in hell that ND will play for it this year.

If the rest lose one game and it is ND's only loss then they do have a chance by the Coach's poll and they know it. They know they have a chance because they get overranked.

if they win out, and everyone else loses one, they have a shot because people love ND and they have a rigorous strength of schedule.. not a big ND fan, but a big OU fan that also has 1 loss (actually it was a win, but the refs screwed us).

I agree. They will lose one more game and they have no real shot at a national title.

Yeah. . .not happening. They still have USC to play with too. Not going to be pretty.
