I received an item that I had ordered from E-Bay but the postage was incorrect. Have e-mailed the seller and she has told me that she will refund the extra that I had to pay at the post office before they would release the item. I collected the item on Wednesday, when I also had confirmation that she would refund. I know it is only friday, but how long would you wait before chasing up or leaving neg feedback. Normally I wouldn't bother but had already paid £3.50 postage and the parcel only had a first class stamp on (33p?) and was in a small jiffy bag.

I was prepared to pay the original p&p (although I thought it excessive) but feel ripped off that having already paid, I had to pay again at the Post Office because insufficient postage was put on the package!!

Why can't people read the questions correctly. I was well aware of how much the p&p was. Please don't anyone else answer by just saying that I shouldn't have bid if I wasn't happy with the charges. Read the question!!!

Usually when you buy something from ebay the seller will post how much shipping will cost. So you knew beforehand what you had to pay. Sellers will charge a little extra on shipping to cover handling and ebay fees. I don't think you will get your money back. You should keep in mind that if you neg the seller you will probably get a neg back.

a lot of sellers put a flat rate on thier shipping, it sucks, cause it is usualy a lot more than what it actualy costs, so i wouldnt get your hopes up, give the seller a week max, to refund and then take action, but i f you are happy with what you got, and are happy with the price, then i wouldnt worry to much.

many sellers on e-bay only charge you what it costs, most will let you know, try one of them next time

i doubt you will see a refund.
That how they make their money. Not just the price of the stamp but packaging, fees and petro and time to get to post office.
Dont bid if you aint happy with the p+p costs.
