Just google Texas sex offenders (sub the state you want) and I bet you find it.

There are web sites that claim to show you where they live, on a map of your local area. However i know they are incomplete. We have a friend who is a real estate agent who said she had a problem selling a house (about 3 blocks from here) because it was across the street from a sex offender. She said she knows of several like that in this neighborhood. When I looked on the web site that claims to show you them all none turned up on their maps.

That is why I won't give you a link to that site (familywatchdog) - it is incomplete enough to give a false sense of security. Anyone who wants to locate them should ask the local police instead.

What you do is go to public records (whatever county) and you should have know problem finding out about any sex offender in area. These records are always free in any state

Depends where you live. Here it would be in the paper and on the news if one is residing in the area. Also notices go out at every school.
