We like 20+ miles from the nearest large grocery store so we do shopping for the week. We have a small little grocery here in town but very expensive and I've bought boxes that have had weevils in it.

Normally just a few things at a time. But lately I've been stocking up on groceries. Usually the first couple of weeks in October it snows where I live. (Live in the mountains). There are times where it snows so bad that I am stuck in my home for about 3 days.

Unlike some people I hate shopping. I want to get in, get what I need, and get out and I would rather do this once every two weeks or so rather than having to go back every 2 - 3 days. My time, not to mention the gas money associated with repeated trips is worth too much to me to not be organized and complete about my shopping trips.

I sometimes get for the week, depending on what's already at my house. I don't want to have to go to the grocery store every couple of days.
But then other times, I'll just get a few things that I need.
