Well i recently asked a question about recovering my password for my netgear wireless router. I was told to reset it or go and find my pass on netgear with my login. I cont remember my pass for the login either and im not sure how to reset my router. There is no button on my router to reset it with and i cant seem to figure out how to do it without the button. Also will I have to enter any info about my internet or anything else if i reset my router?

I'm also using Netgear wireless router. I have got the same problem. The support team from Netgear told me to press the reset button then hold it for 30 seconds then I can reset the password.

What's the model of your router? I think you must found the reset button on the manual or quick guide paper.

If you don't found it then you can go to http://kbserver.netgear.com/ there are Netgear support team waitting to help you. Just contact them then your problem will be solved.

Hope this helps.

Usually, the button to reset your router is in a small hole. You usually have to use a pin to press the button. It's on the back of the router, near where you put the power cord.

When you reset it, you should be able to completely reinstall the router, and set a new password.

Good luck!

There will be a hole in the back of the router - usually located near the power cord - that you place a paper clip tip or pen tip in. Try holding it in while plugging in the router and keep it in for 1 minute. It will reset to the router to factory settings and you will have to reenter any server settings pertaining to your router, if any when you initially set it up.
