I had an HSG, no blockage. Dr. put me on 50mg of clomid days 3-7. Went in on day 12 for ultrasound. Had 2 follicles, one was 19 and other was 25-31 in size. I was given shot of profosi on friday.. We had intercourse that day, several times on sunday and tuesday.I had some little sharp pains in my lower abdomen, and during intercourse my cervix was very sore feeling. Today is day 19 and I couldnt wait... I took a test. There is a faint positive line. Do you think this is from profasi injection on day 12 or pregnant?????

Profasi is synthetic Hcg--the same hormone the pregnancy test picks up. It is just the profasi as it's way too soon to even get an accurate reading on the test. You need to wait a minimum of 14 days after the injection before testing again.

Since you are only at day 19, It's probably the Profasi. Wait until your expected period before you test. I know how long the waiting game is. It took 8 months to conceive my daughter and I'm in my 5th month ttc again. You need to find ways to keep your thoughts occupied. You can always start reading up on pregnancy books and magazines. They can provide good information for when you do become pregnant. Keep positive thoughts.

If even a little faint line than that means its positive for pregnancy!! take another one tomorrow!! good luck!!

as hard as its gonna be please wait til your late for your period. the positive could have been from the shot. call and ask your doctor
