They have an aversion to anything that does not look Aryan. Freed Slaves were a problem for them, then immigrants except when they could be exploited for profit, Next labor union members, then those who wanted child labor laws and women's rights, then commies, and pinkos until RED China started being very profitable, they fear some Saudis, Iraqis, Afganis, Persians etc. but support the oil rich ones and imply that good Muslims are respected and could become republican businessmen.

You can't fight a ghost story...terrorists are no myth.
People who believe in the bogey man are afraid of him and hide...people who believe in terrorists hate them and work to stamp them out.
