Lipo is not the answer. Losing weight is not easy I know from experience. If you get lipo and dont change your habits the pounds come right back. The only way to really lose the weight and keep it off is to change the habits that you have. Start by eating correctly and join a gym. Get some excercise. I wound up losing 65 lbs in three months just by fixing my diet and excercising 1 hour 3 times a week.
Trust me a toned body looks a lot better than one that has been sucked thin and tucked.
Good luck to you and BTW your moms right on this one.
Also there is no such thing as minor surgery...ten years ago I had to track down a doctor (practising w/o a license) who killed a woman through his lousy technique doing a "minor" cosmetic surgery. He's doing time right now but guess what ...She's dead... Her husband and kid won't ever see her all for a quick fix rather than correct her lifestlye.

If you are worried about your weight, do something about it. Lipo is not the answer. If you want to get rid of some weight, begin an exercise/workout program. You can either go to your local gym and workout there or work out at home or participate in a school sport. You'd be surprised of the results if you keep at it and are motivated. Kids now a days are lazier than ever, with a majority not participating in any extra-curricular activities at school and spend too much time in front of the computer playing World of Warcraft or Counterstrike or something. You are 15, and should begin taking responsibility in your life. If you want to loose weight, start excercising and eating healthy. Get rid of all that crap like Twinkies and Ho Hos and stuff, and start telling your mom that you want to start eating healthy and recommend to her healthy things for her to get when she goes shopping for food. At school, see if your school has healthy choices like low fat stuff or salads. Just keep at it and don't give up no matter what your mind may think.
Yeah, it may suck from what you are accustomed to, but anybody that has been overweight and have lost it can say that its well worth it.

If you really want to get rid of the weight that bad, exercise and eat healthy and I guarantee the weight will come off! Lipo is completely a different situation than an abortion. The only way you can get lipo is if your parents consent to it. Lipo is just the easy way out of it...wouldn't you be more proud if you got the weight off yourself? I think it'd be more of an accomplishment myself!

Liposuction isn't going to cure the problem. If you're 15 and that much overweight, then you likely have a medical problem causing it. Thyroid function could be an issue. Or you may have uncontrolled overeating. They have a newer procedure where they wrap something around the stomach to limit how much can be eaten. That might be an option. Exercise is strongly recommended in all cases. If you get much bigger, it will become difficult to even exercise. At that point it could threaten your life.

First of all do not speak about your mother that way. She is only trying to look out for you. Second, if you really want to lose weight hit the gym or work out at home. Last, abortions are not right just like liposuction is not right. Drop the donuts then drop down and give me 25 pushups. You can do it.

Actually it can be done. Except I don't think it's actually lipo but more of a tummy stapling. Kind of like what Carnie Wilson had. You have to first get consent form your doctor and then get approved by your medical insurance coverer. If med insurance won't cover it you have to wait till 18 and pay yourself. But is your doc says it's a have to have, then your mom really can't say no, can she?

Get liposuction surgery in India. Cosmetic Surgery is very cheap in India. There is one company that is very famous in India that arranges cosmetic surgery for foreigners in India. They are called the Forerunners Healthcare. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories.
I have also read that they arrange financing for American and Canadian patients, as cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. The cost savings are incredible. As a doctor I personally believe that your cosmetic surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available here is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.
My cousin got a couple of cosmetic surgery procedures in India like the breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift through the forerunners healthcare. She is more than very happy with the results. She just paid 30% of the amount she was quoted in USA and is all praise for this forerunners healthcare company. I personally have seen the wonderful results and am particularly impressed with the kind of quality care she got from this company. I hope this helps.

I can understand how you feel being I was over weight as a child, but I don't think ANY type of surgery is a good idea unless it is the last resort. What I suggest you do is cut back on eating and try to eat healthier foods. You also must become more active and if you do all of this you will have dates lined up at your door!!!!!!!!!!!

Because a 15 year old kid should be active enough where they can lose the weight on their own and not have a doctor suck the fat out of them. Go ride a bike or run or something and stop sitting on your butt eating Twinkies.

Dude thats actually not that bad, i mean, you could turn all that into muscle and lose the fat by running and just getting a little more active bro. IT all depends on your height, like me im where im at, im 17, 6'3 and weigh 210, but my height backs me up and i aint "FAT". Just talk to your local doctor about a diet, i wouldnt suggest liposuction bro.
